washer worked fine for about a month. washer started getting louder and louder during the spin cycle. after several months with all the doors closed in the house the dryer's spin cycle was so loud you could hear it outside. repairman found the unit could not be repaired and a replacement must be sent. samsung would not replace but offered a refund certificate. after several weeks no refund certificate was received so i had to buy a new washer even though the old one was under warranty. do not buy.

washer worked great for a couple of months and started getting louder and louder during the spin cycles. repairman came out and said the tub was completely disconnected from the unit and that the unit needed to be scrapped. at least it was still under warranty and samsung is going to replace the unit. don't know if i just received a defective unit but can't imagine that a washer used once a week for just two people would possibly fail in such a short period of time.

I had to switch from standard top loading washer and front loading dryer sets to get more room. This pair was available for quick(ish) deliver. Installers stacked them but didn't hook up exhaust. The pair work great, are quick and quiet, and easy to use. Please remember, if you're going to stack, you need to provide your own dryer exhaust hose. What's included isn't for a stacked pair, and they didn't even leave what came with it (if anything did). You also need an additional water line for the steam feature on the dryer. A splitter comes with the unit, but you need to provide the second supply line.

I absolutely love my new washer and dryer set. Previously I had an LG front load washer and dryer and I was content with my set, but wanted an upgrade. I'm glad I got this set. The technology is really unbelievable. The washer tells you when it needs to clean itself and what you need to do if something is wrong. I haven't had any issues with the washer and love the size of it. There's nothing that I can't wash in it.

I am absolutely in love with our new Samsung washer. Our old washer served our needs for quite a few years but this one makes you realize what you have been missing out on. You have so many options to choose from to handle all of your laundry needs. I love the large capacity that enables you to wash comforters, I can even put the dog beds in to be washed. The washer is very quiet when it is running and it has a snappy little tune to let you know that it is done, no longer the annoying buzz. One of the features I like is it will tell you when to run the Self Cleaning option, you can't beat that. I do suggest purchasing the pedestals to make changing the loads over to the dryer a lot easier, which I am going to do. This new washing machine is a wonderful addition to our laundry room. It is whisper quiet and packed with features that make laundry day a snap by if you are looking for a new washer please give this one a look, I think you'll be glad you did.

This washer modernizes my laundry room. It is so quiet that I have to keep checking to make sure it is on. There are separate compartments for the bleach, softer and liquid detergent. The compartment can be removed and cleaned if you make the mistake of putting the bleach or softener in the incorrect compartment. There are a multitude of cycles to chose from and all can be controlled via the smart things app on my phone. I also get a notification on my phone when my laundry is finished. My favorite cycle is the steam sanitize. I use this cycle for my sheets and towels. I feel confident that my clothes are coming out clean and fresh every time. The capacity is fantastic, I can do a small load or a comforter with ease. I love the reminder I get with it is time to clean the washer. Hit the self cleaning button and it gets the job done without any additional work from me. This is definitely what I needed to make my laundry duties easier and worry free.

Great washer machine. It has WiFi and all useful cycles for washing clothes, preventing clothing from damage . I can select the right cycle and will not worry about it . Very convenient touch control panel for selecting temperatures , dryness level , and soil level . This washing machine also has a dryer . So it is very useful in one machine to have two option to wash any dry clothes. The guide is very detailed and with lots of useful information and explanations which cycles to use for safer washing and good care for washer machine.I was able to install washer myself without any issues. Also with QR code I was able to see useful videos regarding this washer installation. Once the cycles are done it notifies with nice music at the end and I receive notifications on my phone once the cycle is finished. In this case you should have SmartThings application to see notifications . The washer doesn't make load sounds while washing . It is good for big family

I am writing a review for Samsung WD50A8860A. The unit is extremely easy to use. Turning the unit on, it even greets you with hello. Turning the knob on the right of the washer will tell the different temperatures of wash. The unit will also convert to a dryer thought this was an amazing feature. It also sanitizes the wash. When the cycle is done, you will know how clean the wash is. It let's you know when the washing is done with a jingle.

The Washer that really works

I received my Samsung WF50A8600AE series washer and my husband set it up. I looks very nice and it's connected to the home network so when the wash is done, I get a notification on the TV and on my phone. There are many settings including a speed wash that finishes a load in less than 30 minutes. The washer is very quiet, I can hardly hear it running. I am truly happy with the washer. I don't have much to say about it, the washer is amazing, so many settings, it remembers the last setting you used. You can see (on your phone) what cycle it is currently on and notifies you (on your phone or any other SmartThings connected device) when the load is done. I am so happy.

This Samsung washer is like nothing I've ever seen. The large size enables you to put in large blankets and comforters. There is also a window which allows you to see inside as the washer is working. One of my favorite cycles is the "quick wash" cycle which washes lightly soiled items in 20 minutes. I find myself doing more small loads instead of waiting for a full load, because of this. I'm hesitant in using bleach, as we had a problem with it damaging several items!!

This washing machine has been an absolute joy to use. First thing that I am so happy with is that the sealing ring on the front loading door does not build up any residue or funk from washing my clothes. As soon as you put your load in, the washing machine will use it's artificial intelligence to try and determine which setting works best. You can easily change or adjust this to match your needs if that setting isn't what you want. There aren't many buttons on the washing machine, the majority of changes are made through a knob that goes through a digital menu. This provides a sleek looking interface for the front of the machine. I love the activewear setting. I can wash my gym clothes and they come out super clean and smelling great. There's also cool settings like steam and sanitize. The Samsung phone app syncs with the washing machine. It will let you know what phase of the cycle your wash is in as well as how much time is remaining. It really helps me keep track of my wash and avoid forgetting that I have a load in.

Sometimes you don't know what you are missing out on until you find something new! Since we received our new Samsung Smart Washer, our families clothes have gotten so much cleaner and fresher than I could imagine. With two boys that play both football and hockey, there is no shortage of stinky clothes around here. I am shocked at how fresh their uniforms and clothes are! We can throw huge loads into the 5.0 capacity drum, which has been a life saver for our last minute busy lives. We often use the Super Speed feature which can wash clothes in 28 minutes and they come out perfectly clean. The control panel is so seamless to use, and it remembers our favorite settings, so there is no fumbling through the options. While we are away, we can use the Smart Things app to control the washer. I use this often when we are at the football fields all day and I don't want the clothes to sit in the washer. I just program it to run an hour before we expect to be home! The set is beautiful in our renovated laundry room, and I am so thankful to have the set to make this busy mom's life easier.

After my previous Maytag washer died after 3 years, I purchased a Samsung washer and dryer combo. This washer is the best thing I could have ever bought.The washer communicayes with the dryer after every washing to tell it the optimal setting to dry your clothes. It's very easy to use. The amount of technology does not overwhelm me. The amount of preset wash cycles is insane. Samsung thought of every little thing. The washer also includes steam cleaning technology and a sanitize setting for your clothes. It also lets you know when you need to initiate the self cleaning setting so the washer does not smell sour. You can control the wash from your phone and if you have a connected Samsung Tv, it will flash a notification on your tv screen that your wash is done. The last thing I love is the quick cycle. My clothes come out clean and fresh in less than 26 min. The washer spin a great amount of water out of your clothes and the dryer takes no more than 15 min to dry. My wash is done and I'm able to enjoy the day. The only thing that I can say I hate about the machine is there is no way to turn the start-up, washing finish, and turn-off chimes off

This is the best washing machine we've ever owned. The capacity meets all our needs as a family with fewer loads. We've thrown everything at it (or in it) and it has exceeded expectations for cleaning all of our clothes. Comforter, sleeping bags, delicates = no problem. Smartphone connectivity to select and monitor wash cycles works seamlessly. Rather than an annoying buzz at the end of the cycle, you get happy celebratory music to let you know that your clothes just had the best treatment of their life. When connected, the dryer will automatically select a drying cycle based on the previous wash cycle…nice. Its very quiet and offers many options for taking care of your clothes. I first purchased the washer in July and it lasted about 5 weeks. I began the warranty process and it took about another 6 weeks to have the washer replaced. I love the features, the capacity, the cleanliness of the clothes, etc. so I am hopeful the first machine's reliability was a fluke and the replacement will last for years. Ultimately Samsung stood by their product and replaced the defective machine. However, having to go to friends and neighbors to wash your clothing so soon after buying a new washing machine was a bit inconvenient.

This washer completely exceeded my expectations. Clothes come out super fresh paired with the dryer. No issues at all, smart wifi features are great! Hope it lasts as long as my old one! Would definitely recommend it!

I'm really disappointed in the quality of the washer purchased. I love Samsung- usually but, the unit purchased is currently broken and dented internally from a piece breaking off from the inside of the washer. Samsung sent a tech to view and assess the damage and we are now waiting on parts to fix it. I would prefer to be sent a replacement.

I love my new Samsung washing machine. The Ivory color is beautiful. So much softer than white. I like how with the optional accessory that I can control my stacked dryer from the washer panel. There are many settings and I'm liking that. I also like that Alexa alerts me when the load is done and the app is super helpful. I'd give it 5 stars if it came in a more compact size. I would have loved an apartment size version of this with the gas dryer. The addition of the automatic soap dispensing that some Samsung washers have would have been awesome as well. I'm very happy with my purchase!

I absolutely love this washer!! The smart automation is easy to use and the settings are perfect to make doing laundry even easier. I love the side load option and I enjoy the ease of being able to add the detergent, softener and bleach from the top drawer. This machine makes doing laundry easy and fun (well so easy it is almost fun). I really enjoy how quiet the washer is during the cycles. My 5 year old sleeps through it ND he is the lightest sleeper. When the cycle is finished it plays a cute little song instead of a alarming buzz! There are a bunch of cycles to choose from. I have tried most of them and the presets are easy to adjust if I want to tweak the temp or the soil level. We like the sanitize cycle the most! I got the dryer to go with it and we had a little issue with noise (there was a screw in the barrel) and we called Samsung customer service. They sent someone out right away and fixed it free of charge. The dry is just as marvelous with all the smart features and cool setting options such as steam wrinkle reducer. So glad that I purchased it!!!

this has been amazing to wash in so many cycles to choose from 23 to be exact with one being the self-clean mode from activewear to bedding to steam bulky to super speed wash in 28 minutes. i use the steam sanitize the most since the pandemic hit now there is also steam allergen mode which i am loving helps reduce allergens for our kid's bedding and clothes but back to when i set it up as it was simple to get everything connected to my wifi i just scanned the qr code on the washer and within minutes i was connected the wifi was easy no problems for beginners just download the app and your set. it's perfect just liked i hoped for.

this washer has many more laundering options than the old washer it replaced. i like that i can change each preset to my preferences. spin drying gets so much water out that drying time is less, even the thick bath mat. washing and rinse cycles are quiet. the door has a sharp edge that scratches my leg as i walk past it when i leave the door ajar (to allow the inside to dry). i haven't gotten cut, but it is something to watch out for if you have young children.

Well done Samsung! They nailed it again with an awesome washer! To me this is top of the line washer! It's extremely quiet during every cycle. It washes my laundry as it should and I never have to do them twice like the one I had before. You can connect it to the SmartThings app and control it or set up start time. It has a child lock feature which is great if you have kids. I am so pleased with it. The only thing I wish it has is the light inside the washer when opening the door. But overall it's great.

I have had my washer for about three weeks and haven't really had a chance to truly experiment yet, but I really seem to like it. The technology is like no other. I love the large capacity, as my king size comforter fits inside with room to spare. I especially like the "quick wash" cycle for small loads. I did have an issue while using bleach with my bedding, as it left bleach stains on one of my pillowcases, and am waiting for a technician to come out and check the unit. For the most part, I really do like my new washer, and there's still lots to learn. Since my post, I have had Samsung technicians here several times, (Samsung has been great) and they can't seem to figure out why the bleach issue occurred. I have also since purchase and had "installed" the (2021)pedestals. They make it so much easier to access my washer. All in all, I really do like my new washer. It's been about two months since I received my new Samsung washer and dryer, and Samsung technicians have been here 5 times for issues pertaining to them. Samsung has been great, but there is really "no real answer" as to why some bleached damaged one of my items, except being told "not to fill the bleach dispenser too much, and to push the dispenser drawer in very very gently"!! That being said, I am scared to use bleach in this unit. Besides this issue, I do really like my new washer and my favorite cycles so far are "quick wash", "bedding", and towels.

Trying to figure out the temperature of the water or how long the wash needs to run is a thing of the past. There are so many pre set options for washing anything you can think of. The app even allows you to pick and choose how you want those options to be set up on the machine. I love that there's just an option for denim. This washer is very user friendly. The installation was fast and simple. The size of the drum is massive and it blew my mind how much was able to fit into it. I am a fan of the front loader design. I feel that you know that all the clothes are getting washed. I love that if you have the washer and dryer stacked that you can get a cable and attach them together. That allows you to be able to control all the options on the dryer from the control panel on the washer. I feel like this washer has a washing option for anything you can think of.

I love the washer.The different cycle are amazing. My favorite cycle is the sanitize. It is very spacious and modern. . You can also see the progress of the cycle, using the app from your smartphone . This cycle heats the water over 60C to eliminate bacteria. It has 24 different cycles. It also has a self clean cycle that cleans the drum .The sound is also very faint. Big enough to wash comforter and bedspread. I am so happy that I have this washer.

This Samsung washer machine is a new generation, it has WiFi and all useful cycles for washing clothes. It has touch control panel for selecting temperatures , dryness level , and soil level . This washing machine also has a dryer to select it features. So it is very useful in one machine to have two option to wash any dry clothes. All the cycles that machine has is very convenient and useful, I don't need to worry what will happen with my cloth. The guide is very detailed and with lots of useful information. The other great feature to select language for the machine . Also I like after the cycles are done it plays nice music at the end . Using SmartThings application I could connect my washer and see notifications once it is done . It never made washing clothes such easier as before . The other thing I like that this washer and dryer machine that I have can be stackable and save lots of space . The QR code on the machine will redirect to website where lots of information how to deal with any issues if any appeared. My husband was installed our washer and dryer and it was pretty fast and easy following all the guidance.

The technology of this washer is amazing. I get to choose the cycle depending of what I am washing, all from my phone. This washer also sanitized my clothes which is super cool in these day and times. It was easy to connect to my smart things app from Samsung and i am able to see the cycle of the washer and i get notifications when my laundry is ready to get it out from the washer, it also has a dryer function on the washer, how crazy is that! I think this is awesome because I'm always on the go and end up leaving clothes in washer. It also plays music when it's done, I'm trying to figure out how to change the music and see if I can add my own. It also sends a notification on my alexa, so there is no way I will forget my laundry again! The washer is very quiet, it's just an awesome washer with a lot of tech to make things easier. Definitely worth the money

This washer is the best washer ever, the soap dispenser is super cool, it allows me to put the right amount of soap, softener and bleach, is so amazing that I get to choose the cycle depending of what I am washing, my favorite is washing whites and towels since this washer also sanitized my clothes; is super easy to use I connected to my smart things app from Samsung and i am able to see the cycle of the washer and i get notifications when my laundry is ready to get it out from the washer, I think this is awesome because I always forget, it also plays music when is done and I get notification on my Samsung tv, so there is no way I will forget my laundry again! I don't use the washer as often as my wife. In case of emergency and I need something washed last minute then it's up to me to get it done. The Samsung washer was easy to maneuver considering that I don't use it everyday. I was able to choose an appropriate function for my work clothes, even for my sons soccer uniforms. My favorite is the Activewear function as well as the Superspeed wash function. I wait for last minute to get things done and these two functions get the job done. Very functional and easy to use. The washer is very roomy and quiet. The only time I hear it is when it is filling with water and when it's done. The laundry detergent dispenser is my favorite. Everything is labeled and easy access for dads.

Washer works great and has several wash options for various type of clothes as well has the ability for the user to enter special instructions for any fabric that may not be common. Machine is also very quiet and clothes come out very clean, much better than my old 10 year washer it replaced. Highly recommend. Have used all settings but mostly delicate . There is a multitude of settings that can be used for about any type of laundry you may have. Washer is very large and will hold much more than the unit it replaced. Like the feature that sounds a chime sound when laundry is finished.

I needed a new washer to replace my 13 year old one and I am so pleased with this front load machine. I love the technology it has and how it is capable of remembering your most used cycles and settings. I love being able to control it via an app on my smartphone. It makes it so convenient when doing loads of laundry. The artificial intelligence is incredible. I love how simple it is to use, yet it has so many different cycles and options to choose from. With just the turn of a dial I am easily able to select the perfect cycles and settings for whatever I am washing from delicate clothes, to bedding, and towels. Everything comes out perfectly clean each time. I love the rigid design of the stainless steel drum. One feature I really like is it lets you know when you need to clean it after so many cycles, and it has a self-cleaning cycle. I also love the extra large capacity since it makes it so easy to wash large comforters and blankets without having to squish them. Overall I am highly pleased with this washer and hope to use it for many years to come. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a washer with smart features and that is large capacity. It is easy to use, maintain, and does a superb job of getting everything nice and clean!

I have to say it is a breeze to set up and using the smart app is amazing I can use Alexa also which is amazing I can stop it and control the cyles I just love it I can tell you how amazing it cleans from the steam bedding cycle to power rinse which I use to get all the dirt out of our rugs. We are in love with our new Samsung Washer! The color we chose was Ivory which is off-white and looks elegant in our laundry room. It does have stainless accents which make it very modern looking. The "Smart Dial" control learns my day-to-day cycles and automatically puts them as first choices to make setting my laundry up quicker. The extra-large 5.0 cubic feet leaves ample space to be able to wash all my big loads like comforters and blankets without having to go to the laundromat. The Wifi Connectivity is a game-changer. I can set my laundry loads to go from my phone and then monitor the progress with notifications on my smartphone/smartwatch when it is completed. Laundry cycles are faster than my previous Samsung washer. I'm able to do more loads and finish quicker. There's also a feature called Laundry recipes where it auto presets for your type of loads. The steam cycle lets me wash my delicates with ease. The washer is super quiet - Don't even hear it much when it's spinning. The washer also notifies me when it needs to be cleaned and there you can set a self-cleaning wash. The units can be stacked with the dryer on top but we decided to buy pedestals and put them side by side. If we had opted to stack there's a feature on the washer to control the dryer from the washer and not have to reach to the top of the dryer controls. My laundry comes out so clean and smells so fresh. This was a great upgrade to our home.

We received our washing machine and dryer on time. There was an issue with the dryer that we realized after the techs had installed it. The washing machine is beautiful. It seems quite large for a front loading machine. It has multiple wash settings though I have only used the normal setting so far. The clothes all come out very clean. The machine is the extremely quiet when it runs. Both the wash and dryer are compatible with Samsung smart hub. I use this feature, which gives me the ability to control some of the washer and dryer features from my phone. The best part of this is that it alerts my phone and Samsung smart watch when the load is complete. This comes in handy more than I would have thought as I often forget I'm doing wash, especially when the machine is so quiet. This feature works through the internet so these alerts come through even when I am away from the house. I would definitely recommend both the washer and the dryer to anyone but particularly those who are interest in smart home technology. The self cleaning feature is really great and works very well too! I used this frequently! So far, I am 100% satisfied with these products!
