I absolutely would not recommend purchasing this washer. Ive owned mine for 4 years and it is rusting around the top of the machine. I have followed all of the manufacturers instructions and I always leave the lid open to allow it to dry out after use. I purchased the extended warranty and Ive had to have it looked at twice because the machine does not stay balancedwhen doing the smallest load of towels 4-5 or a single set of queen size sheets even though I make sure the items are evenly and properly loaded. The clothes do not seem to be getting clean no matter what I do. I am a fan of LG products but this washer is not up to their usual standard.

Garbage washing machine and garbage company. Failed in less than three years. Idiot tech showed up for five minutes and said it wasnt fixable without even trying. Everything is fixable LG just doesnt want to fix it and screws over their customers with junk products. Will never buy another LG product again and will tell everyone I know not to waste their time on a company that makes garbage products If I could give be zero stars I would.

Works great but hope you dont need any repairs

Runs great but flexible drain got chewed through and no independent repair shop will touch an LG for even the simplest repair. No way I can afford an LG specialist After 2 failed repairs I finally epoxied a PVC pipe to the drain and used a flexible adapter to moved drain pump to make it work. So far so good but next washer will be an American-made model that the local shops can fix.

This has been the most disappointing purchase. Ive had three service calls since buying this washer. Initially my navy and black clothing would have gray residue on them after washing. In fact I had to make sure to not purchase that color of clothing. Although this washer was highly recommended by a independent consumer group based on my experience I can not agree with that position.

This is a great machine we have it since 4 years now without any trouble. Since the last month were left with black flecks on the clothes and the tub like some kind of residue in the washer. Weve run the tub cleaning cycle with the Glisten washing machine cleaner but the problem remains. Weve also tried 1 liter of white vinegar + 2 tablespoon of bicarbonate with the cleaning cycle and the problem still persist. We just cant get rid of these flecks.

We had extended way Our washer was leaking out the bottom. We contacted our warranty. They would send us a repair person. Never showed up Had to go to laundromat plus took off work for this visit. Called 2nd week would send LG person The LG person was in Florida were in PA. Couldnt talk to a person It was mostly fighting with a computer.

My washer wasnt working and it was under warranty thank God. Rudy was my tech and the first visit probably wasnt pleasant for him. I was irritated that the part didnt make it in time for his visit. I know it wasnt his fault. He was VERY patient with me and didnt react to my irritation. He said he would reach out to me when the part came in and he did. He replaced the part and Im a happy camper Im sorry for being irritated.

Love the LG fridge but an absolute no on Washer

I have an LG frig that is awesome so when it was time for a new washer and dryer it was a no brainer. The problem is I am on my third pulsator due to a thing called scruda nasty dirty grunge that gets in the pulsator and eventually begins to come up in the wash. You can easily get the pulsator out of the washer but getting a pulsator clean is another difficult task. We just bought another new pulsator. The first time it happened I called LG and the very nice service person said it was due to fabric softener. Also said I was using the wrong tub cleaner.to use Oxi instead of Affresh. I stopped using any fabric softener and switched to Oxi. Within a year it happened again. Replaced pulsatorwithin a year it happened again. 3rd At this rate I will spend more money on pulsators than I spent on the washer The rest of the review would be very biasedI dont know if the washer even gets clothes clean at this point since I am focused on the scrud issue.

Eats my clothing

For the most part this machine does an OK job. Every time I take clothing out it is completely twisted around all the other items and I have to untangle and shake out everything. Periodically it eats clothing. I am very careful to not overload the machine and it still shred things.

Skip the Impeller - Buy an Agitator Machine

Clothes are practically tied in knots after washing. They are not as clean as when washed in a machine with an agitator. Yesterday a cloth shower curtain that I wash all the time was pulled under the impeller and now has jammed the machine.

Ive had this product for 3 years and it has worked wonderfully. In a week of carelessness I left the collar stays in my shirt. They unfortunately made their way to the drain pump and jammed it. Initiating the request for repair and and requesting a technician was easy. The scheduling was easy as well. The technician communicated his arrival with enough time to not be too disruptive to my day. He diagnosed the drain pump as well as the touch screen being defective. He ordered the parts came by the next day installed them tested them out and was out in about 2 hours. The technician was professional and through. I am very pleased with the service from begging to end.

Excellent machine. Gets my clothes very clean and in half the time of my old front load washing machine.Easy to use and I really like all the settings. It has a very large capacity. I can easily wash a king size comforter or two queen size bed pillows.

This washer was new and came with the new house the builder bought installed it in July 2020 its just 2 of us older people. It was a nice washer til the gear box went out no extended warranty. So so disappointed. The matching dryer works fine fingers crossed it lasts awhile longer.

We have had a couple issues. Clothes were not getting real clean until we used five different cycles for Wash tub clean with affresh. Also washer did not drain properly on one cycle. And flooded our laundry. This only happened once and we cannot figure out why.

Horrible Warranty Technician

A technician came out for a warranty we told the technician that the washer was leaking water on medium to large loads. Technically only put in 1 large towel and 3 small hand towels.

High Hopes

Until recently I found this LG washer to be a good choice for doing average loads of laundry for 2 retired people. However the need to recently replace a critical part after less than 3 years of ownership is unacceptable from a durability standpoint.

Ive owned this machine for a couple of years. Half the time it doesnt seem to use enough water since clothes dont get fully submerged. I recently installed Flume on my water meter and much to my horror the amount of water being used for one load of laundry is ridiculous. I just did a large load set on bedding using cold water and my meter indicates I used 98.7 gallons. This is for one load of laundry. Not only that but the frame around the glass on the top closing lid cracked in 3 places with a 4th hairline break.

Bad design. Repair difficulties.

Good for 4 years then would not power up. Tech $100 said needs new computer. $300 to repair. I checked. Found problem with small foam rubber spring under power button. No replacement available. Placed al. foil over spring. Now works fine.

The unit was good to me. It rusted on the front where you pour bleach in. All around in front. The board lasted only 2yrs. I will NEVER purchase any LG appliances again I not happy at all. I purchased May 2021. Washer quit.

I bought this right before christmas. So far i am very happy with it. It is quit and washes the cloths very good . I also like the sound of the settings and the tune it sounds when washing is complete . Another added feature is it lets you know how long the wash will take thru-out the whole cycle so for me so far

Bad foam spring

Machine worked well for almost two years then would not power up. Servicer came and after diagnosing reported that we need new computer board and noise detector about $500. Saw YouTube piece that said foam piece behind button would go bad. Could not find replacement piece without replacing computer board. Placed aluminum foil over foam spring and unit works fine so far.

Our washer would not turn on. LG came out fixed the error quickly and we are back in operation. The repairman even taught us a few things about our washer and left us some cleaning samples We love our washer with no agitator and would not hesitate to buy another LG

Bad customer service no product support

We have been dealing with a faulty part issue that started shortly after we purchased this washer. Customer service has not followed through with their promise to return calls as our case was escalated to management. Its been weeks and we have followed up a few times spending half an hour plus each call. Dont support a company that doesnt stand behind their product. There are other companies with very comparable machines out there.

I bought this washer dryer set for my new home and I so disappointed that I bought these The washer has a plastic drum inside the lid and its FLAKING off with every load I wash. We are a family of two adults and do not do laundry very ofter so its not overused its just a bad product. The dryer is nice but you have to run it more than two times to actually dry your clothes- ever more times if its a blanket and yes I put it on the bedding setting. The only thing worse than the flacking washer is the awful customer service--or lack of any service I have called texted emailed sent photos and video and still no response from their team.
