I have had this LG Ultra Large Capacity Electric dryer since early January and am very happy with it. Some great features include the door which you can open in two ways for easy loading and unloading. Also like the FlowSence Duct Clogging and Clean Filter indicators. I feel safer: less threat of a fire from overlooking the duct for long periods of time - now I get notification of when it needs cleaning. The machine runs quietly and seems solidly built.

I like the LG Dryer as it matches the LG Washer we already had. There are plenty of options for drying clothes. The integration with the app works well to let me know when a load is done or when there is an issue with the unit. This unit generates a lot of lint for our clothes. The alerts in the app let us know when the vent needs to be cleaned which helps alot.

Dryer Noise

Very disappointed 1-800-NO-HELP

I purchased my LG washer dryer and only used less than 5 times I soon after started some renovations in my home and covered the washer dryer for when the work was finished. Now that the work is finished the dryer wont turn on and LG says its out of warranty. I get there are rules but Ive truly only used 5 times or less Ive had an electrician out and its getting power. LG should send a repairman given the circumstances. I will not purchase any LG products in the future since they dont stand behind their products. Zero customer service

Dryer will not work correctly

Dryer was delivered on 12/01. First time I used it I got a code D95 which means it sensed the vent was blocked. I had already had a professional vent cleaner cone out to ensure the vent was clean. I can only dry on bedding cycle to keep the sensor from giving a code. Today 12/19 a repair person is scheduled to come out to repair. Will change review when I know it will work correctly. Very unhappy as of right now

The sensory dryer settings have Never worked I contacted LG several times and ended up being advised to just use the manual setting So now we use the manual setting but have to run the 60 min cycle and re-run another 30-40 min to ensure the clothing is fully dry When I wash towels it takes AT LEAST 2 sometimes 3 cycles to dry. I recently purchased a new LG washer and dryer combination at Best Buy. My due diligence was very thorough reading many reviews from many manufacturers. LG seem to consistently be on or near the top even though it seemed that the number of viewers were put off or intimidated by the technology. Within 24 hours of delivery not only did I find them easy to operate but the functions available on both units are extremely impressive and add to effectiveness and efficiency. If you dont own any clothes with strings then you this dryer will work without problem for you. If you have pants sweatshirts tops etc with strings be cautious. There is a gap where the lint catcher is attached to the dryer. The ends of your strings will catch here while the clothes continue to spin. When you come back to remove your clothes the item will be messed up. You will be left with one side of the string normal and the other side coiled up. If you go through the trouble of untwisting and ironing the coiled side back out it will flatten but the strings will be thinner and longer than the original side. I contacted LG support for this and their only solution was to tie your strings up. Two main issues I have with this. First issue for the price of this dryer you shouldnt have to hide parts of your clothes. Second issue if you tie up the strings and dry them they will dry crinkled up. Then you either wear your attire with wrinkled ties or have to iron them out every time you wash them. Ive never had that issue with other brands and will remember this for future purchases as I look for something to replace this LG.

Auto Dry does not dry

I was highly disappointed with the product and with the companies costumer service. The drier door was not put on right and it opens the wrong way. The delivery person said it was their fault but it would take too long to fix. I tried calling customer service and just kept getting passed around and told they could not help me. Also the auto dry feature does not dry the clothing at all you have to put everything on Timed dry.

Washer does everything thats expected. A few pet peeves is there is no towels feature but you can save a setting for that type of wash. Also it took us a while to figure out that you did not need to select anything special when adding fabric softner. The washer apparenlty senses if its in the load.

Seems to be good but.....

After our old dryer died on a Saturday morning I went to Lowes to find a replacement. Ended up with this LG. Once I got it home and had to a lot of work to get it to fit into place and dried a load of clothes. Two things stuck out to me. First the clothes were all still damp. Adjusted drying to more and the clothes were finally dry. Sadly I cannot find a way to keep the more dry setting. Second the dryer drum has no light. My old dryer had this feature and really like it. LG needs to allow for a permanent dryness setting and also put a light inside the dryer.

Great Dryer

The dryer performs as advertised. The settings are easy to use. I have not been able to use the wifi settings since my wife does not allow me near the dryer. I assume it performs the same as the refrigerator.

LG Dryer with mobile set 9/10/2022

Ive had this for about a month and I must say that Im very pleased with my choice. Love that I can connect it to my mobile to start the load and know exactly when its done.

Love it and I need more light

My old dryers starter decided when it wanted to work and when it didnt. So my research began 12/2021 using every available online resource possible. All I read pointed to this particular manufacturer and model. Finally gave in convinced I wouldnt find a better dryer and the purchase was 8/10/22. It is only me so no I dont need to wash as often as others. Ive only used my new dryer two times since but heres what I like about it... When the old machine was unpredictable Id hang out everything. This new dryer has made my wash much softer than sun drying and has gadgets that take care of bacteria. Important to me its an Energy Saver. The drum has a light. I didnt think Id use that middle opening door but do find it comes in handy. One thing Id change is the lighting as there isnt enough on the dark controls screen when I need to choose options. Shame as Id have given 4.5 stars. Bottom line...after spending 7 months assuring the best manufacturer and model I am confident in my decision. Hope this review helps make yours.

Ive had the dryer for about month and it works well as it should. Honestly I probably havent totally realized the potential of the drying cycles. I have noticed that when using delicate cycle and normal cycle for towels the clothes arent totally dried. Previously I used an LG front load washer and dryer and do miss all the extra features especially the towel and steam cycles. I also liked having the controls on the front which afforded a flat area on top of washer/dryer. I am a bit disappointed in the printed copy of the ownerss manual. It is not very valuable unless you are installing it yourself. When I went to read about the cycle to use for towels I was directed to go to lg.com. Online I could not find which is best cycle for drying towels. Hard to believe the printed owners manual does not have information about the drying cycles for a dryer

LG Smart Dryer

We bought this dryer because our old LG dryer finally had its last workout and we really gave it the workout over 17 years. So we naturally wanted another LG and I am so glad we did. This dryer has been every bit as good as our older dryer but with newer features. I highly recommend this product.
